Respiro Clarete (2022)

Alentejo, Portugal. The wine is a blend of roughly 10 different varieties, both red and white, with Alicante Bouschet, Grand Noir, Aragonez, Trincadeira, Tinta de Olho Branco, Castelão in red, and Boa de Alicante, Formosa Dourada, Manteúdo, Arinto, Bical, Tamarez Pérola making up most of the blend. The proportion of red grapes to white grapes is roughly ⅓-⅔. Organic. Natural fermentation in cement vats. This wine bursts with fresh, juicy red berries and dark fruit, balanced by hints of black licorice, purple flowers, and aromatic herbs like lavender and rosemary.
