Aperture Red Blend Sonoma (2021)

Sonoma County, CA. The bold taste of California, with Sonoma’s more restrained elegance. Featuring the photography of Andy Katz on the label (his son makes the wines). This is a distinct Bordeaux blend, composed primarily of Merlot and Malbec, with almost equal inclusions of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. The ripe red fruit characters are structured by silky seamless tannins, showcasing an elegant density to the blend. Aged 18 months in 45% new oak 60 and 70-gallon French oak barrels. The wine is unfiltered and unfined.
