WHY IS THIS WATCH IMPORTANT Back in the 50s and 60s, Omega was a symbol of class and style, it was even more recognizable and expensive than Rolex. All gold Omega watches with caliber 320 are rare and very collectible, but this one is pretty special, it doesn't only have a tachymeter scale but also an Uber-Rare Pulsations scale too. This combination is present in less than a handful of pieces known. About the Omega 320? This is without a doubt one of the most iconic movements of the 20th century. This caliber was developed by Lemania and characterized by the inclusion of a column wheel that makes the use of the chronograph function more precise than before. Even now, this caliber is still one of the most reliable movements ever produced. According to the ¨115¨ hallmark on the case-back, the gold case was made by the company MANUFACTURE FAVRE ET PERRET SA, founded in 1865, which operates in the Clock- and watchmaking industry. It was based in Le Cret-Du-Locle, Switzerland. CONDITION This watch is in excellent condition overall, the case seems unpolished and sharp on the edges, and there are very small scratches from normal use, the dial is super clean with very few aging spots only noticeable at close inspection. it has been fully serviced and keeps a fantastic time.
