WHY IS THIS WATCH IMPORTANT Everyone who likes pocket watches knows a few things: sector dial, leaf heated blue hands, stepped case (beveled), open nine, brushed dial, are among the most coveted attributes when searching for these beauties, this watch checks all the boxes you might be looking for a time-only pocket watch. The dial is silvered and vertically brushed which plays fascinating with the light, A trio of Arabic numerals is located at three, nine, and twelve o'clock, with stick markers in the other positions.  According to the Longines archives, this pocket watch was originally invoiced on December 16, 1943, to the company Ostersetzer, who at the time was the agent for Longines in Italy. CONDITION This watch is in overall very nice condition, especially considering it is almost 80 years old. The dial is in great condition with just a very few small spots of aging hardly noticeable by the naked eye. The case is cromed with minor scratches and nicks around the edges. The Blued hands show some minor aging. The watch has been recently serviced and keeps good time for a watch of its age.
