WHY THIS WATCH MATTERS Finding a vintage Movado in pristine condition is no easy feat, let me tell you!And finding one with Breguet numbers, sector two-tone dial and steel heated blue hands on a François Borgel case is an even more exceptional discovery. Here you have the first waterproof creation by Movado, the Acvatic, complete with a Chronometre rating movement 150MN and tailored for the French market, as indicated by the Fab.Swiss writing on the dial. And there is this case, which is in unpolished and outstanding condition, made by the very famous François Borgel, the very same case maker that made the most collectible Patek Phillipe vintage watches. This piece is 28,5mm but feels larger due to its case design, the extended lugs give a wider impression and feel. CONDITION This watch is in great almost MInt condition, with an unpolished and sharp case with some light micro scratches.  The dial is clean with a very light even patina. The watch has been fully serviced and keeps a fantastic time. The amplitude of 270° Rate -15s/d.   THE FINE PRINT Maker: MovadoModel: Acvatic Reference: 11730Year: 1940sMaterial: Steel and Rose GoldDimensions: 28,5mm x 38.5mm; 10mm thickness Crystal: Plexiglass Lume: NoCaliber: Cal. 150Bracelet/Strap: New Beads of rice braceletLug width: 16mm Box/Papers: No (Pictured box not included) -This watch was photographed on a 6.9 inch / 175mm wrist.
