Original CDV of Confederate Colonel Harry W. Gilmor (1838-1883) - "Harry the Raider",with Anthony/Brady backmark and revenue stamp.Gilmor was a Confederate Cavalry officer during the Civil War, commanding the 1st & 2nd Maryland Cavalry. During General Jubal Early's invasion of the North, Gilmor led hiscavalrymen on the Baltimore County / Magnolia Station Raid. About 4" x 2.5". Overall in VG antique condition, though the mount is slightly trimmed.
