Small vintage Passamaquoddy lidded basket made of ash splint and sweetgrass. Design is intertwined with colored ash splint and the lid is topped with a curled ash splint handle. Made by master Passamaquoddy basket weaver Molly Neptune Parker, the matriarch of four generations of Passaquamoddy basket weavers. She was a co-founder and president of the Maine Indian Basketmakers Alliance, tutoring many young people in the traditional craft.
