Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

What a lucky thing it was for the world of grown-ups and those in the process of growing up that George MacDonald was able to persuade his friends Lewis Carroll to publish Alice! Conjured one day in the middle of a meadow, during a hot July tea party, Alice and the white rabbit entered our world and the heart's of curious (and curious-er) children everywhere.  Accompanying the original draft were some illustrations which were drawn by Carroll himself, these thirty-sever are included in this charming edition.  Hard-to-find Everyman 1976 paperback edition in okay condition, see photos.
