A figurative acrylic on canvas panel painting of a winding staircase by John L. Hausner. The staircase is painted in glossy brown tones accenting each step leading up and down to places unknown. Was this his house? The walls are yellow and light green as if reflecting light from a large picture window not seen. The painting is set in a molded frame with easel back and D-rings and hanging wire. The canvas measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" and the frame measures 10 1/4" x 12 1/4". The painting is signed "John L. Hausner" as well as the back of the frame. The condition of the painting is very good with no flaws. The frame, which is not of the highest quality, has a small chip and a loose bottom left joint.
