
Periwinkle Angelina
Periwinkle is a good name for this color. Truer blue than Wedgewood. Lighter than Blue Gunmetal and not super bright as some or as pastel as other blues. One of the earthier blues, leaning toward gray-blue hues. It is reflective of itself and a hint of violet in the right light. Angelina is a very unique fiber, both light reflective and light refractive. A fun and fantastic embellishment fiber, adding depth, dimension, visible "texture" as well as bling. You'll frequently see it mixed in with yarn, felting, art batts and the like. For spinning or making art batts (or roulags), just a few fibers do a lot! Blended with other fibres in amounts as small as 2%, it gives sparkle and highlight to your projects, whether it's yarn, batts or felt. You can just "add a tad" while spinning singles or sprinkle a bit into your carder or blending board to liven up any color mix.
