As Assistant Musical Director for America's Got Talent, Scott Simons "flips" covers every week on tv, helping emerging artists reveal their artistry by reinterpreting a familiar song. In UNCOVER SONGS, The Songwriting School is proud to put to have Scott teach you these very skills. Scott will guide you in flipping a cover to reveal your artistry. Then you'll use that toolbox to begin writing or rewriting an original song to make good on the promise of that cover. Class meets for 3 consecutive Saturday afternoons from 2-5pm at historic Enterprise Recording Studios (and over zoom), includes a private zoom conference to get feedback and guidance on your song, and a final performance (optional) that we will film and record.
