Please be advised that the effect is temporary and will wash away with water. We use a thin coating of hair spray to keep the mica lightly adhered to the soap. You will still be able to enjoy the 3D image on the bar for some time after the paint has washed away. If you’d like to use your soap as a decoration, keep it in the package or keep it dry until you are ready to use it. Use scissors or a knife to delicately remove the packaging. Expect some mica to rub off on your fingers if you touch the painted sections (it comes off of skin with soap and water!).  Also, expect the first wash to be a little messy! Lathering up the bar to trap the mica in the wet soap can help prevent any residual mica lingering in the sink.
