Summer Sausage. All Fibrous and Cellulose casings are not edible. 25 per pack. The first number on these casings is a trade size number. The second number is the length in inches. The following gives you approximate stuffed diameter in inches for each trade size. 1=1 1/2", 1 1/2=1 3/4", 2=2 1/4", 2 1/2=2 3/4", 3 1/2=3", 5=3 1/2", 6=4", 8=4 3/4". TIP:  See equipment category for hog rings and pliers to close the ends of any Fibrous Casing. All Fibrous Casings should be soaked in warm water for 15 to 30 minutes before stuffing. All Fibrous and Cellulose Casings are not edible.
