Used on permanent installations, butt weld concentric reducer is only applied to equipment that can be cleaned in place (CIP) and disassembly of the system is not required. The concentric reducer is used either inline on a vertical flow application or as an increased when laid horizontally. As opposed to the eccentric clamp reducer, the concentric reducer may cause pooling in process line fittings.
