German WWII Collection of Documents for Alfons Huber-This is a collection of certificates and documents for an Alfons Huber who was a Corporal in a mountain Troop (Regiment 91). He was declared MIA on 05.03.1944 from Pawlowka/Ulman. Ukraine. This is a certificate for an Iron Cross 2nd Class presented on October 7, 1941, an Infantry Assault Badge dated April 10, 1942, and a Black Wound Badge for a wound received in February 1943. There are two more small cards included, one is an engagement announcement to Kathe Gnägy and the second is their wedding announcement. The Wound Badge stamp is for “LeichtKr[anken]. Kr[ie]gs. Laz[arett]. 3/619”. The original signatures are interesting. EK2 document signed by later Ritterkreuztrager Karl EGLSEER, he died in an aircraft crash in Austria on 23.06.1944. Infantry Badge signed by DKiG winner Max Stendebach (survived war, became a politician) and I believe Huber was ‘slightly wounded’ and treated in Leichtkranken Kriegslazarett 3/619 by a Dr Muller[?
