The Space Born by Manly P Hall Publication: 1930 Skelter Publishing Company; Los Angeles Pre-Publication Edition After some research this rare edition has been identified as a Pre-Publication edition. Although not as sophisticated as the edition published for circulations; There is a variant that makes this version particularly unique. It contains a frontis titles "Not-Being is My Name" by Wm Mortensen who was an American glamour photographer well known in Hollywood during the 1920s-1940s for his 'Pictorialist' style. The frontispiece by Mortensen was replace by a self-portrait of Hall for the circulated First Edition. This pre-publication lends a glimpse to what was perhaps Manly Hall's original intent; to symbolically portray the Annata of Buddhism, or the "non-self" which would be in line withe the context of the book. Nonetheless, Hall eventually opted to remove the frontis. The circulated edition was published shortly after in slightly larger and more refined edition. However,
