dazzling. sparkling. mesmerizing. this ring packs so much sparkle and effervescence into a small surface area thanks to a jam packed cluster design of natural baguette and round diamonds. while none of the diamonds are going to win prizes for clarity or color, together they are dynamic and the sort of sparkle that's more-than-slightly distracting.  this is indeed vintage and made by LIM, which is likely the LA-based jewelry company that's been around for several decades. this piece has some quirks, which prove its age, but none that detract from its quality or sparkle. this ring is priced far below many of its peers online, which isn't a reflection of quality or condition, it's because it was sourced for this collection at a great price and that savings is being passed along 14k yellow gold + white gold accenting + diamonds M E A S U R E M E N T S  size 7 sold to me as 1.5 tcw of diamonds, but by my calculations its a minimum of 1.25 tcw, possibly higher. there's variability in the sizes of the baguettes, which makes calculating the tcw a delicate math problem setting measures ~11mm north to south on the finger for pretty amazing finger coverage band tapers to just over 2mm wide setting rises ~5mm off the finger center round diamond is ~2mm weighs 5.7g C O N D I T I O N  in good vintage condition there is a baguette that looks in most lighting to have a crack that travels east/west, but it isn't a crack, it's an optical illusion from a large carbon fleck that runs through it. it's been circled in several photos both from the top view and from the underside of the setting. it is NOT a crack, but it fools the eye. the rest of the diamonds are free from damage, but will have minor surface wear visible with magnification. one prong was replaced previously and it isn't a perfect match with the others. the rest of the prongs are all snug and secure, but there's huge variability in their shape and size, which gives the piece some contrasting organic, rustic vibes until recently it was surprisingly dark with patina — a hint it hadn't been worn in a long, long while. it's been recently hand polished, but not polished by a jeweler for fear of removing some of the accent white gold overlay on the sides of the setting, which is there to help the diamonds sparkle to their highest potential this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved S H O P  A G R E E M E N T S please read the 'shop policies' section to understand this shop's shipping & exchange policies
