look up! they come in peace, and they're definitely observing how billions of people on earth have lost sight of how deeply interconnected we are. one's understanding of anything is a matter of the perspective we take. for a moment, or as a continuous practice, can we take the perspective of otherworldly beings observing humans on earth? What do they see? What is utterly ridiculous? war, hate, borders, scarcity, capitalism, etc. What is glaringly obvious? shared resources, diversity, abundance, etc Whether they're making their public debut or not, the idea of otherworldly visitors is inviting us to gaze down upon our earthly existence with new perspective. And, tbh many of us are ready for an otherworldly intervention to quite literally save us from ourselves this ring's original design featured these five diamonds at an angle in east/west settings that seemed like they obviously wanted to be spaceships. A master engraver re-worked the settings to be more spaceship-y and also slightly angelic (is there a difference?) this ring has a wide mirror-like surface, thank you for looking past any dark areas/reflections on the ring in the photos the band is 14k yellow gold with white gold edges at the front and five small natural diamonds. it's tapered, which makes it a comfortable flat wide band M E A S U R E M E N T S  measures size 8.75, but likely fits more like a size 8.5 because of the width front of the band is 7.62mm tapering to ~3.4mm at the base of the band diamonds are each ~1.4mm each weighs 3.9g C O N D I T I O N  in good reworked vintage condition this ring is sturdy, but it does have some time-earned character worth noting:-it appears that the shank below the shoulders is a more recent addition as there are faint sizing seams on either side, but then there are additional sizing marks near the base of the band, so it has had some adventures. all the sizing seams are sturdy/secure and the seams are more visible inside the band than outside-it's safe to assume the white edge along the front of the band was once raised and more crisp, but it has softened from many years of wear-diamonds are free from chips/cracks, but may show minor surface wear under magnification-a few larger dents/dings throughout the band's surface and some heavier scratches inside the band engraving is new and crisp this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved S H O P  A G R E E M E N T S please read the 'shop policies' section to understand this shop's shipping & exchange policies S K I N  S E N S I T I V I T I E S please read the ‘FAQs’ section before purchasing an item if you have a history of skin sensitivities to metals of any kind, and/or a history of skin reactions like dermatitis or eczema.
