a classic, timeless horseshoe with 100+ years of bloomed patina giving the gold a bright high karat hue, when really it's 10k yellow gold. converted to a ring from a stick pin, the horseshoe is sturdy semi-hollow and the band is a modern round round wire band, making it easy to size.  markings on the horseshoe were lost to the conversion process unmarked 10k yellow gold M E A S U R E M E N T S  it's a tricky one to accurately measure for size since the horseshoe is flat, not curved, and thus it doesn't fit flush on a sizing mandrel. it's fitting like a size 7.25 horseshoe measures ~17mm north to south x ~16mm east to west weighs 1.2g C O N D I T I O N  in good reworked antique condition the horseshoe has a bright high karat hue from time-earned bloomed patina some scratching and inconsistencies in hue/surface on the back of the horseshoe where the original hardware was removed care was taken to attach the band evenly, but it's possible that it's very slightly out of level by ~0.5mm (not noticeable when worn) the horseshoe is semi hollow and is free from crushed areas this is a reworked antique item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved S H O P  A G R E E M E N T S please read the 'shop policies' section to understand this shop's shipping & exchange policies
