OH I DON'T KNOW/POSTER, 2014

Poster: 30 x 24" Gallery Frame: 30 x 24" Shadowbox Frame: 32 x 26" "Oh I Don't Know" takes lyrics from legendary British indie pop band, The Smiths' song, "Stretch Out and Wait," featured on their iconic 1990 album, "Louder than Bombs." Using silkscreening technique and typographic design, Hundley reproduces concert ephemera and band poster paraphernalia but in a personal, lyrical register. Like in many of his works, Hundley's piece for The Posters asks the viewer for a moment to pause and to reflect on the "here" and "now" The Smiths so evocatively brought to their listeners.   Poster on 80 lb silk McCoy archival paper Printed in the USA 10% of every poster purchased helps fund art classes for kids.
