This bold, full-bodied wine wraps firm tannins around ample black cherry and black berry flavors, giving it a mouthfilling and tooth-drying texture at this stage. Attractive aromas of black currants and blackberries with hints of cedar, graphite and baking spices. Hints of violet, too. Medium- to full-bodied with firm, powdery tannins. Structured and lengthy with a firm finish. Better in a year or two.
