What sets our newly redesigned kit apart from the rest that are on the market? We felt most Baja hoods have a hinge problem, meaning the springs are too stiff for the way the mounting is on most hoods. So we put in a reinforced inner structure that looks like the factory steel hoods to strengthen it. Chopper gun fiberglass is cheaper, but doesn’t leave a nice finish. Hand laid is stronger and smoother, but more expensive. We decided to mix the two, with the last layer being hand laid.
