Novaculite is a type of stone that can only be found in North America.  The novacula stone formation in the Ouachitas of Central Arkansas is geologically considered, without a doubt, to be the purest and finest quality.  Its extremely high-purity silica content exceeds 99 percent.    Small Hook & Knife Stone: Approximately 3" x 1¼" x 1/4”, Soft Arkansas Novaculite stone specially grooved to keep your fishing hooks sharper than new.  Instructions included.  Large Axe Stone: Ideal for sharpening axes, hatchets, machetes and garden tools. 220 grit, round aluminum oxide puck (2½" x 1¼") with finger groove for better handling. Lubricating honing oil recommended. Always sharpen against the cutting edge. Protective stow tin included. Made in the USA.
