Home Economics & Entrepreneurship is a class that provides skills for life! This is a hands-on, practical course designed to equip students with essential life skills that serve them well beyond the classroom. This dynamic course blends creativity with practicality as students dive into a diverse curriculum covering sewing, cooking, nutrition, meal prep, couponing, basic gardening, home repair and maintenance, basic first aid, and develop problem-solving skills. Students will also explore the basics of starting and running a small business; they will learn about business planning, market strategies, and financial management.  Students will learn a versatile set of skills that enhance their independence and prepare them for future personal and professional challenges through a mix of lectures, hands-on projects, group work, and individual assignments.
