The Afton Platform Bed Frame by Savvy Rest is hand-built by their own in-house skilled woodworkers in Charlottesville, Virginia with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery. The Afton features closely-spaced poplar slats and solid steel, mortised-in corner brackets. Each corner has three tenons for optimal strength and durability. Easy to Assemble - no tools are required for assembly. That’s right—it’s actually easy. Zero-VOC Stains - We wanted our stains are safe for our customers as well as our woodworkers who are using them every day in our woodshop. This is why we’ve opted for zero-VOC stains.
