PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES A stunning Amulet made of authentic ancient Roman glass with incredible, highly desirable natural patina as a result of centuries upon centuries worth of oxidation. Primarily silver and gold iridescence, but with some flashes of a rainbow of colors. Structurally in very fine condition, it is an incredible testament of the very high quality found in this unique ancient craftsmanship. Generalized as a loose term, Ancient Roman Glass is used to refer to most all ancient glass after the Mesopotamian period, just prior to the rise of Rome, up to the 4th Century AD, geographically stretching from the Rhine River (which stretches from modern day Switzerland up to the Netherlands) & down to Egypt, & from Britain over to Asia Minor (what is today's Turkey) & countries along the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea.Made of white silica sand & soda ash, naturally occurring impurities like iron & manganese were not only inevitable, but purposefully added i
