Imperfect Extra Long Loop Handled Board

This large rectangular shaped board with a handle was handcrafted by Guatemalan artisans of distinctive Caro Caro wood. Each piece is unique and may vary in shape and grain. All wood should be oiled regularly to maintain its beauty. 24" L x 10" W. In a small town outside of Antigua, Guatemala, the Artesanos de San Pedro have created a workshop dedicated to the sustainable production of cutting boards. Incorporating modern techniques with traditional handcrafted quality, these artisans cut, smooth, and shape each piece of teakwood into a unique piece for the table. The Artesanos de San Pedro gather recycled or sustainably sourced hardwood from the Smartwood Alliance in order to secure the future of the wildlife that surrounds their community.
