Ancient Seas #12 — A Pair of Fossilized Coral Dangle Earrings in Oxidized Sterling Silver
Natural pinky-red Fossilized Corals have been playfully set on these modern “stems”. Wrapped in Fine silver and set on Sterling, this pair has been set on naturally oxidized Sterling stems and have fine silver details peppered on each piece. Being mismatched brings them their delightful charm. These hang from oxidized Sterling ear wires and measure a total length of 2.4 inches. The widest stone is about 0.6 inches in diameter. Please note because I use an environmentally friendly, and old style of oxidation, the dark oxidation colors may and will be uneven. Rather than a solid color, many deep colors come out in this process such as cobalt blues, deep purples and stormy grays. — All another benefit of using non-harsh patina techniques, you get a true oxidization effect. These have a total length of 1.3 inches. These earrings incorporate recycled silver, as my other pieces and were completed by my hand, using no power tools or harsh chemicals in the process. ** PLEASE NOTE: I can not make changes to sizing, chain lengths, or oxidation preferences once a piece is complete; I am not set up to do so. How my items show here is the final product. Because of my power tool-free ways, and lack of traditional jewelers chemicals in my process, this piece is sold as you see it here. **
