Chris ParrottLong considered the most challenging subject for painters and sculptors, the nude figure has also generated tremendous controversy throughout art history. From the classical idealism of ancient Greek sculpture to the sensuality of Baroque painting and beyond, figurative art has been a source of both awe and outrage for centuries.
