Chris Parrott via ZOOMArguably the two most influential painters of the 20th century, Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso, had a respectful yet intense artistic rivalry that lasted decades. Rather than simply being adversaries, Matisse and Picasso engaged in a complex ongoing dialogue, with each artist inspiring the other to continually evolve.
