Set of 2 Hand Forged Blacksmith Made Floating Shelf Brackets- heavy duty for books and more!

This listing is for a pair of shelf brackets hand made in the forge at our farm. They are made of heavy duty 1" x 3/8" metal shaped with the old time methods of fire, anvil and hammers for a heavy duty shelf that will look great anywhere in your home! Or, use them individually for hanging plants or other decor. We also now offer optional mounting hardware (not made in the forge). These are 2.5" long, black, hex head lag screws which are rated to hold up to 200 lbs per screw by the manufacturer when properly mounted into wood.  They measure 6 3/8" in overall width (to fit a 6" shelf board) with a 1" lip at the end of the bracket. The lower portion that attaches to the wall measures 2", with 1" between the 2 mounting holes. The brackets are 1" wide and come with a flat black finish that looks great and prevents rust no matter where you'll be using them.  The 6" brackets have been so popular, we've added a selection of sizes so you can also purchase other sizes.  Brackets for an 8" shelf
