The Emmaus Retreats, or Emmaus Road as it is known in some countries, is an apostolate of the Catholic religion that was born more than 30 years ago by a director of Religious Education named Mirna Gallagher in Miami. The beginnings of the retreats were supported by Father David G. Russell, rector of St. Louis Parish.
