Late 19th Century Chinese Bronze Foo Dog Incense Burner

Large, heavy Chinese bronze incense burner on three decorative legs ending in an animal paw. The principal side of the container has a large dragon in relief with swirling raised waves while the back side has three panels of raised wave reliefs. The bulbous container has a large handle on each side and is topped with a foo dog with it's rear feet in the air. The foo dog rests on an open a bronze lid with openings of shaped waves.
