
Handmilled Herbs
Y’all, we do this the hard way. The long way; because it’s the best way. Grown in Clermont, these herbs never get any chemical treatments and are carefully tended for the ultimate flavor production while growing. After harvesting, the herbs are trimmed, triple soaked, washed, spun + dried. They then cure for anywhere from 7-14 days depending on variety, to be milled by hand. This process creates superior dried herbs that have strong flavor + aroma and deep green color that you will never find in the grocery store. Fun fact: dried herbs on the grocery store shelf are often times years passed their bottle date. Notice how spice bottles never have an expiration nor milling date? Every bottle of dried herbs from The Egg Chicks has its milling date on its back label so you know exactly how YOUNG your dried herbs are!
