In 1946, the U.S. Navy Mine and Bomb Disposal Schools combined at Bellevue Annex of the Naval Gun Factory. It then moved to Naval Powder Factory, Indian Head, MD, on Jackson Road. The new training course was designated as Explosive Ordnance Disposal, giving birth to "EOD." This shirt pays homage to the birth of Explosive Ordnance Disposal.
