Marilou

Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Dijon and in contemporary art history, she draws on diverse influences — from cinema and advertising to art history and pop culture. Her work explores a “small mythology of the everyday,” capturing fleeting, poetic elements of contemporary life. Through her portraits of women, she reimagines classical representation, proposing new icons of femininity. The female body becomes both subject and medium for a reflection on societal norms and enduring cultural archetypes, subtly inviting viewers to question, decode, and reflect.
