Some of you might be familiar with Susan from the Little Samper Series. Susan’s Little Sampler has the colorful moth and some of the small motifs. This is the full reproduction of the antique.All we know about the stitcher of this exquisite piece is her name and the year she stitched it. This antique sampler is stitched on 26 count linen and is 22.5” wide by 23” high. Susan used wool thread for her stitching. The verse is over one and stitched with a silk thread. I have included an option to not stitch the over one verse and replace it withan over two alphabet and Susan’s name and the year. You can choose your favorite thread palette from the three included conversions. I have stitched the threads on Fox and  Rabbit Paperbark linen to assure their compatibility and they look beautiful together.However any light colored sampler linen would work with your choice of threads.
