Champion Online Debate Team | Grade 6-12

What You Will Learn Speech and Debate is an extracurricular team activity in middle school and high school. Like track and field, Speech and Debate tournaments have many different events. Speech and Debate class builds your skills in writing, research, critical thinking, and public speaking.  Debate events use both prepared and impromptu speeches to convince an adult judge whether you or your opponent is more persuasive.  This online course is designed for students who would like to prepare to compete on a Speech and Debate team in the 2021/22 school year, either on your school’s team or by joining our club team.  Keywords: speech, debate, research, forensics, writing, communication   Design For  Grade 6 - 12 A debater who wants to enter the school year with their speeches already prepared A middle schooler interested in Speech and Debate but whose school doesn’t have a team A senior who wants to enter their last year of competition with a head start        Course Overview
