Roseline Shark General Background The Roseline Shark, also known as the Denisonii Barb or Redline Torpedo Shark, is not a shark in the truest sense of the word. However, this relatively small fish grows to no more than five or six inches in length and makes a beautiful addition to a fresh-water aquarium.   Indigenous to Western India, the Roseline Shark comes from fast-flowing water and streams. It, therefore, does best in a highly-oxygenated environment. This pretty fish moves in large schools in the wild, so there should be at least four to six of them in the tank.   Keeping their numbers up ensures that they stay peaceful and make a dazzling display in the tank. The fish dart about in the water and make a show thanks to their bright red, black, and yellow markings.   They prefer planted tanks with plenty of areas to hide.
