The Japanese word for frog, Kaeru, has another meaning. It also means to return. The frog, in Japanese culture, is a symbol that wealth and fortune will return, and are considered good luck. Often represented in “irezumi,” a Japanese tattoo, Kaeru are many times depicted wearing clothes and using tools or weapons. This Kaeru, with a bodysuit tattoo of his own, is wearing a traditional fundoshi and wielding a sword. Saw3doffsamurai came to me with this concept, and I couldn’t wait to see how it would come out! We hope you like it as well. Concept by: Saw3doffsamurai; Missouri, USA See more of Saw3doffsamurai's work on Instagram. Designed by: Phil; Texas, USA See more of Phil's work on Instagram.
