Brown/Ivory "Good Sign" Cotton Double Gauze from Japan by Nani Iro, 41" Wide By the Yard #EGX-11140-1D

This brown and pale ivory print "Good Sign" features a stunning hand-drawn abstract illustration by Naomi Ito, and is printed on a 100% cotton double gauze. There's also a bit of black and sparkly, subtle light teal. Two layers of light, thin, soft 100% cotton gauze are tacked together at regular intervals. The loose weave of each layer gives the fabric a bit of a spongy, fluffy, springy texture and very soft feel. Interesting effects can be achieved if the artisan used a print as the underneath layer as it appears this one is. Double gauze is semi-opaque and lighter colors especially may be a bit see-through.
