Monday, January 27th, 2025 10:30am - 1:30pm Adapted from Japanese tradition, Kumihimo means "come together" and was traditionally the braiding of cords by hand. Join Lauren to learn all you need to know to get started in beaded Kumihimo. This technique is fun to learn and the projects can travel well, making it a great one for long car trips or a weekend getaway project. Students will create a bracelet using seed beads, cord, and crimp ends.Cost includes supplies to create one bracelet. Please add a comment in the "special instructions" space in your shopping cart to let us know which color you would prefer to use the day of class. This is helpful since we will be pre-loading your beads for you. We will have white luster & gold polka dot, matte olive green & gold lined polka dot or striped raspberry luster & salmon lined striped as shown in the photo.
