This 46-year-old whisky represents the second installment in the Remarkable Stills series. Drawing inspiration from unique straight neck pot stills, installed at the distillery in 1965, these mechanisms offer precise control over the spirit's style. Its journey began in 1974, aging in both 1st fill and refilled American Oak casks. After 4 years, the liquid migrated into a blend of 2nd fill Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks to introduce an additional layer of dried, tropical fruit complexity. A total of 200 bottles have been crafted for this second release. Exemplary skill graces every aspect of the whisky creation process, extending to the packaging's final stage. Each bottle brandishes the Loch Lomond Distillery emblem, sandblasted and filled with copper. An embossed wooden cork seals the bottle, complete with an engraved metal band.
