Originally conceived as a smaller, more agile, and cheaper supplement to the more sophisticated contemporaries, the F-16 would eventually evolve into a reliable platform suitable for a wide variety of offensive and defensive roles.   It is still used today by the US Air Force and production continues with even more capable models being produced year after year. This F-16C is equipped for Combat Air Patrol (CAP) and the model wears the livery of the 93rd Fighter Squadron, known as the Makos, based at Homestead Air Force Base, Florida.   This 1112 piece set was created in a collaboration between Brickmania and The Atom Brick.
