Carrot (Daucus carota) is a biennial plant that produces a cluster of white flowers that produce the seeds.  Carrot Seed essential oil is steam distilled from the dried seeds. It has many aromatherapy uses, and is used for psoriasis, eczema and reduces scarring. Carrot seed oil is also used for premature aging, itching, dryness, and is added to eye creams. This oil blends well with Frankincense, Lavender, Rosewood, Cypress, and Geranium.  It has a strong earthy scent, a middle note with a medium aroma.
