Watermelon Tendersweet Orange, Heirloom(Citrullus Lanatus) This watermelon is an orange flesh variety. Tendersweet Orange Watermelons produce lovely and delicious 10-15 lb. oblong fruit that have orange flesh with minimal seeds. The strong rinds and sweet orange flesh with high sugar content make these a favorite for many. They grow about 18" long and weigh about 35 pounds (when they mature). We highly recommend this one.   Note: Watermelons grow best in warm weather and sandy soils. Make sure their trailing vines have plenty of space for enjoying warm summer weather so that they can produce a sweet, delicious harvests.
