[Gr 6-8] Introduction to Essay Writing: Preparing for High school

Each session is a duration of two weeks. Session 1  6/29-7/10 Session 2  7/13-7/24 Session 3  7/27-8/7 Session 4  8/10-8/21 Class Schedule* 2 weeks per session, 3 times a week Tue & Fri, 1:00pm - 2:30pm (EST) Wed, 12:00pm - 1:30pm (EST) * The program will be automatically canceled if less than 3 students signed up for the program. (Subject to full tuition refund) Weekly Schedule Part A: Expository & Persuasive (Session 1 or 3) Week 1: Introduction to Expository essay. What is Expository writing? Writing the Facts. Week 2: Introduction to Persuasive essay. What is Persuasive writing? Learning the art of persuasion.    Part B: Narrative and Descriptive (Session 2 or 4) Week 3: Introduction to Narrative essay. What is Narrative essay? Learning how to tell a story.  Week 4: Introduction to Descriptive essay. What is Descriptive essay?
