Polaris - Rose
Polaris is the brightest star in the constellation, Ursa Minor (Little Bear), and lies nearly in a direct line with Earth’s rotational axis above the North Pole, making it a Pole Star and a navigational constant. As a result of its position, the star appears from an Earth observer’s perspective to remain stationary while the rest of the sky rotates around it. Polaris is actually a triple star system, with two stars orbiting one another and the pair in orbit with a third star. The star’s triplicity can be seen represented here as three concentric hexagonal shapes; separate from each other, but connected by their similarity and proximity to one another.
