For your consideration one high base, Confederate, 3 ring bullet listed in the Thomas Ready Aim Fire page 32. There it states the nose sprues are hand trimmed by a knife. You will find this bullet to be in very good to excellent dug condition with some ground action. The patina is a white on black color. The nose sprue can be easily seen & the cavity is a cone. Measures about 0.535 x 1.025 inches.
