The Belgian Waffles - The Belgian Waffles 7" EP (Adept Recordings, 1996) Last known OG dead-stock copies of this criminally overlooked Kentuckiana art-skronk blaster, acquired directly from the fine folks at Adept HQ! I'm a long-time lover of this 7" (though I wasn't around during TBW!'s heyday, their Cropped Out set was a much agreed-upon helluva good time in 2014). Ramshackle sax'n'guitar rock konfusion from '96, sounding singularly "Louisville" to my ears, yet in another way wouldn't feel entirely out of place on some sort of Lumpy Records comp a couple decades later... "1994 found The Belgian Waffles! between Bloomington and Louisville.  Dan and Heather were homeless and on the road,  Matt was on his way out of town, and Tony wasn't far behind.  Chris and Bill were weighing their options.
